Robert Howard Denied Bond for Naomi Jones Murder Charge!

(Originally Published 11:03 a.m. CT June 30, 2017) — Robert Letroy Howard, 38, is charged with killing 12-year-old Pensacola Naomi Jones. He has pleaded not guilty to murder. Howard was arrested June 7, 2017, in connection with Naomi’s death. Naomi was reported missing May 31, 2017. Her remains were recovered from a creek bed off Detroit Boulevard on June 5, 2017. The State Attorney’s Office is seeking the death penalty against Howard. Howard is a convicted sex offender from Brewton, Alabama. He is charged with first degree murder and failure to register as a sex offender.
